    Chopper prop

I just bought a ‘85 champion ‘18 f/s with a Mariner 200 it came with a 22 and 24p chopper prop. Boat doesn’t seem to have a good hole shot and won’t stay on plane when I slow down a little. Not really concerned with top speed so was wondering if I should try a different prop. Not sure which one I have on there now, just haven’t looked. Thanks

A Trophy Plus or Tempest Plus would be a good start. Champion's like lower motor heights, So a Fury3 in a 23-24P might also do well.

Depending on which model Chopper you have (some are better than others) they are designed to RUN. The faster the better. They definitely aren't the best prop for lounging around at 1/2 throttle.

    I would get a 23P Bravo1 FS or XS.
