Been too busy building a house and only went 6 times this year. Did Crappie fish in early spring. Out of 6 trips I caught at least one really good fish (5-7 lbs) in five of them. Caught a bunch under two pounds each trip. Last trip was in July. No tournament days.

This year has been so bad, I'm considering selling my boat. Not because the fishing was bad, but because I have gone 3 times in May, that's it. I cancelled the insurance on it, put everything away for the year.

Winter and spawn were fantastic. 25 fish over 5lbs, 10 fish over 6. I do not bed fish. I am also a weekend warrior and don't tournament fish.

Summer has been average, I made a hard decision to dedicate the summer to learning deep fishing.. It was rough at first but I am starting to get the hang of it. No big ones yet though.

Fishing this year started off great with a W in January...

...and (like the year 2020 in general) has pretty much turned to chit, since.

Did luck into a dorkfish yesterday, though, so maybe things are picking up.

Was real good until July came rollin in , a central Ga.lake is hard to deal with in the late summer . Last Saturday I talked to a couple of tournament fishermen at 9 a. m. and they had 3 small bass each I said not bad and guy said we started at 10 pm the night before .

One of my best, two bags over 20 pounds, one being 26 1/2 pounds. Quite a few tournament wins, it's been a good year.

I dont find it much different, but I will say I have fished a ton more. I was fishing when there were ice sheets still floating around my local pond. Experimented fishing lots of new areas due to boater activity and have caught some really nice fish in places I never would have thought.

    mixed bag here

started great on the Ontario opener, then dwindled a little, caught a pile but the size wasnt totally where I wanted it. Then it fell off a cliff for a bit, got back on em a few weeks back and had some excellent days frogging largies in the pads and dropshotting brown ones out deep, then last weekend visited a different lake and it sucked. Caught a bunch but they were all dinks. The traffic as some have described has definitely declined again. I think with people going back to workand meeting up more frequently, people are staying off the lake a little more. Was honestly surprisingly quiet this past weekend on the lake I was on. in fact maybe the quietest Ive ever seen in it terms of angler pressure. That could also be because the quality of the fishing is so terrible that people have decided to fish more productive lakes close by as well.

Started out great, February my partner caught his personal best LM at 10.27, March I caught my personal best LM at 8.66, April my son finished 2nd in his first ever youth division tournament, then my partner dropped a hydraulic cylinder on his foot and crushed it, my son fractured his spine doing squats getting ready for football season, and I'm having hip surgery Thursday so our year is pretty much done.

It's been a terrible year for me to the point where when my doctor said to take a few weeks off of fishing due to my lower back problems, I wasn't even upset...
