I made a whole new dash panel from plexiglass, wrapped with carbon fiber vinyl.

Panels can be made from plexiglass, Lexan, aluminum sheet using simple hand tools (or lay-up of fiberglass cloth/resin if you're ambitious). They can then be painted, hydrodipped, vinyl wrapped, etc.

Sweet!!! How difficult is the vinyl to work with? Was thinking about wrapping windshield with it.

This was 3m 1080 air-release vinyl, and on flat panels, was very easy to work with. On compound curves, you need to take your time, use a heat gun and work slowly.
