Thinking about Repowering my 2012 triton. It has a 200 proXs and I want to put a 225 v-8 proXs on it. How much would you think this would affect the resale value when I go to sell it in a few years?

It will up it some, but you’ll never recoup the costs. As with buying anything new, you’re taking the initial price hit. With that being said you’re getting a new motor with warranty. The 2 stroke merc prices have really gone down hill since a lot of people sold off and they’re “old” technology.
It only makes sense if you plan to keep the boat at least another five years
Yeah you’ll never recoup the money if you’re gonna sell in a few years.
If the motor is still in good shape and you don't plan on keeping the boat too much longer then I wouldn't put the money into it. It's still going to be a 2012 boat no matter what motor it has on it.
