Eagle at Caesars Creek but not Bald Eagle ?

I was watching one Thursday which was an adult, could this be a Golden Eagle. I'm not sure.

    Thanks

Possible, but a much much more likely scenario is that it was a juvenile Bald eagle. They don't get the white head until 4-5 years old.

I love seeing the bald eagles in this area! Yesterday we had one flying in front of us running up the GMR. It was only 50-70 yards away, just cruising up the river. Awesome sight!

There is a nesting pair about 1/2 Nile behind my house on close to the Ohio Indiana boarder. See them frequently. Last spring while mowing grass, I caught something out of corner of my eye and land in a tree in my yard. It was a bald eagle. Everytime I see one, I'm amazed how big the birds really are.

I saw a juvenile Bald eagle yesterday at CC. It was near Wellman's.

There's a couple around CC. Been seeing them there for about 5 years. Most of the time its north 73 but there is another somewhere north of Wellman's.

NICE! Glad to seeing them come back. Wild Ohio mag last issue I think had a story about the Bald Eagle nest census and the 2012 count was like 281 and the one just finished was 707.
    Very good news there.
