    Fury barrel flare

Has anyone remove the barrel flare on a Fury prop?
Bravo 1 xs and Tempist props work good on my boat as well as the Fury
The barrel on the Bravo and Tempest are straight.
The Fury has a smaller blader diameter with barrel flare.
Any thing to gain or is it to much work with little or no return?

Yes sir I have, on a fleetmaster gear case it will improve the hole and acceleration, On Torkmaster II case you will not be able to get the boat on the pad, extreme blowout at nose over, If you do this have it cut of in a lath and save that portion so it can be welded back on latter
If removed, no more than 1/4 inch
    Thank You Leon Pugh

    Yes Sir. Thank you
    Ordered prop from Mark’s Prop.
It should work out fine and give me wat I wanted in a rough water heavy load prop.
    He is tweaking the prop.
I am not going to be cutting any of my fury barrel.
I will just sell the fury 4.
    thanks again
Ps Mark told me both the Bravo XS and Tempest had flared barrels.
    I stand corrected

The Bravo1 has a full flared barrel.... The XS has most of it cut off, But still has a little left on.
