Hey all I need help finding the model number on my johnson motor. I believe it's an 89 gt150 according to the cover. The data plate is unreadable. I found the Welch plug that has R8186097 on it. Can anyone help? I need to order parts but don't know the model.

So if I order carb kits off that they will be right? I found there are quite a few different models everywhere I've looked.
I have no idea which engine you have, you posted it was a 1989, if its an 89 model then the model number I posted will get you parts for a 1989 model.
The 1989 model will have this power pack, it may not be blue but it will be shaped like a T, see pic.

Ok. It's titled as an 89 it's on a bass tracker 1800tf. I was just saying the site I looked at had multiple model numbers for 89. Although it seems the carb kit might be all the same.
#0439076 is the part number you need order 3 of them.
