Goin Kayakin Again This Morning

Up early to make that coffee. Headed to meet a buddy on the Illinois River.
Fish all day and camp on a private rock bar.
Fish some Friday and head on back.
First time out for the new Jackson Bite kayak.
Can’t wait!

Thursday was a great day on the water. Buddy caught one around 4lbs.
We hit the water about 6:45. Off the water by 1:30.
Love the new Kayak.
Plenty of seed out there.
Only broke one rod-no more braid on the river fishing!
Showers showed up Thursday evening.
Rained hard Friday morning. River colored up and would have been good fishing, but we broke camp and headed home to dry it all out.
Beautiful weather for August in Oklahoma. Perfect temps.
Best part-We saw no other paddlers the whole day-UNBELIEVABLE!
