Waypoints on 360

I was trying to place a waypoint on the 360 screen and couldnt. From my research, it looks like I need to add a heading sensor for my new Helix also have a fortrex. I am coming from Lowrance units with a point 1, could i use that and use an adaptor cable (AS EC QDE - Ethernet Adapter Cable) or do i need a AS GPS HS - External GPS Heading Sensor? any advice?

If you still have the Point and the NMEA backbone, you can use that with the AS ETH NMEA2K black box, Ethernet cable and AS EC QDE Ethernet adapter. OR get the AS GPS HS antenna.
