Still no chip? When I talked to the mapper @ the ramp in July 2019 he said a few months.

NUTTIN?
Spoke with product team last week. The scanning has been completed and the data is in Italy going through QC. Europeans tend to have a slightly different approach to work than here in the US. I just don’t know what to say....
hoping for mid September right now

The drop dead date for having it shipped is the Elite event on Santee in early Oct. So I don't think they will miss that...

I say this in every thread related to these chips...But do any of you insiders know an approximate order of states? I will gladly buy these chips the second they are available for VA and/or MD...But I have no clue when to expect them. Not a dig at CMap or anyone else, I just really want this mapping!

Thanks Roy, that would be great as I have vacay time to watch the event "on water".Logan, I feel your pain:)
I would bet my farm it will be the week before or after the Santee Elite event. The Elites will talk about how they found all their fish with it...……….and will probably be the truth for that event.
Logan...
The team is currently mapping GA and the next stop has not been settled on that I am aware (they probably have decided but they certainly don't ask/tell me everytime <LOL>). VA was originally scheduled at one point but then put on hold to get the Carolina's. The pro circuits also play into their decision process as well.
It is a time consuming process and they need about 10 times as many people/boats on the crew to get to everything they want to do.
Best advice I can suggest is to sign up and contribute to Genesis maps...while not perfect, they are in most cases better than the non-precision cards that are out there right now. I have a local lake that wasn't big enough to make the cut on the NC card but I have scanned a lot of it and continue to upload logs often...and it is pretty accurate for the most part.
