    Touch or Non touch?

What is your preference for a unit for livescope and why? Thanks in advance.

I'm currently using touch screen, but will watch this thread to see how it goes. Based on local guys response to ease of adjustments I'd say the knobs and buttons will win this one.

IDK. I've had it on both. I currently have it on a touch screen. As Leonard said, the ease of adjustments with the knob and buttons is/was pretty good.

Have touch screen and it is fast and responsive, also has range and gain on screen with out taking up any space on screen. Trying to navigate a non touch my buddy has is definitely slower for me

If its just for scope, the knob is the way to go. If I was going to use it for anything else I would get the touch.

    all modern devices are sensory!
It is very difficult to use pens after smartphones and tablets ....
    I have a touch 1222 Plus.
This is very convenient because other device in the boat are sensory too!

Get the highest resolution you can afford. I am running Humminbird solix on my boat and when I added livescope I went with the GPS Map 1022 after talking to some folks. I would say if I’m running a Garmin pure system go with touch and highest resolution. If your just adding livescope I’ve found the non touch 1022 a good high resolution and economic option
