Mercury Optimax Engine Mechanic

I need to identify a new engine mechanic for my 2007 Mercury Optimax engine. I live in Louisville and I store my boat in Taylorsville close to the lake. Used the same guys in Louisville for 10+ years but recently had some issues with them and I now need to identify someone new. Any suggestions?

The guys at Cumberland marine across the street from Settlers trace seem to be ok.
And a friend likes the mechanic at Cabela's.
And Danny at Marine works is a real good one too.

I’ve heard he’s a great optimax guy. Up until recently I traveled to ky lake for all my boat work and maintenance. A good shop is worth the drive.

I agree with that. But Barren is 2 hours away........hoping I can find someone equally qualified around the Louisville / Southern Indiana area.
