Anyone install panoptix on Caracal?

I am on the struggle bus trying to get that GIANT lvs plug through to the stbd compartment where I want to mount the panoptix box. I drilled a new 1 and 1/8 hole to run it through, but can't get it to the stbd "rod locker". I've tried vasoline. Maybe there's a better route for the cable?

Has been a while since I did mine, but seem to recall the plastic shroud with the threads around the plug can be removed do decrease the diamerter when you pull it and then there is a spare in the bag, maybe check to see if that is true.....

I ran mine through the Plastic plate under the trolling motor pedal and then fished it along the gunnel on the stbd side. I didnt want to drill any holes in the boat but didnt mind drilling the hole in the plastic hole cover under the trolling motor pedal. My trolling motor pedal is also mounted in the back position with the filler piece removed.
