Pan fish pool 13

Might be taking a couple kids out this weekend to introduce them to fishing . Looking at pool 13 and probably put in at savanna. Been out there a few times for the green ones but never crappie or bluegill . Any good spots to share would be appreciated . Crawlers or minnows would probably be most produtive I figure but I'm up for any suggestions . Thanks in advance

You may want to try Spring Lake - it is a large and contained area with some deep holes and pretty well sheltered from currents. Also there are facilities there.
I have not been in there for a while - but it's as good as I can thing of. Lainsville slough is a pretty good crappie stop.
