You don't need a pass to fish Lake of Egypt. (correction- you will need IL fishing license). You WILL need to pay for ramp fee and parking. I believe Pyramid Acres marina is $5.00 and Mack's marina is $10.
You can see any lake restrictions from SIPC or LEAPO.com.
Some guys are throwing deep cranks, others are flipping the grass. Green Pumpkin, black/blue are good favorite colors for plastics/jigs.
