    Terrova

My buddy has a bay boat that we just put a Terrova on. There is t a good place to screw the foot pedal down too has anyone found or made a weighted plate or a way to keep it in place?

Mine is just loose on the front carpet but it’s a deep-v multi species boat so it’s not jumping out on me, but get some heavy duty Velcro pads with 3m style sticky tape on the one side, they’ll hold it pretty well and it’s easy to move it if you need to without drilling any holes anywhere.

on my 73 mph bass boat i just had my pedal on the recess with a "mider box" under it with the excess cord in the channel of the mider box, one screw to hold the box to the pedal, no other mounting

I used the large velco strips. They have worked great for me. Simple solution. Try it, if you don't like it then move on to something more complicated.

I ran 2 screws through my anchor locker lid to attach my footpedal, i also added the powerpole foot switches

probably overkill but doesn't move around, if i decide not to run it anymore then a new sheet of sea dek will cover up all the holes

My old Terrova and my new Ulterra came with little rubber feet that go on the foot pedal. Instructions say they are specifically for non carpeted boats. They may serve your purpose well.

I screwed mine to the deck. Be careful not to tighten to much or the foot pedal buttons could stick.
