    Z9 hull flaking

Guessing no warranty 2014 z9 is fading and flaking on a 2x6in spot. This was was wrapped from 14-16 then stored indoors since. Anyone had this type of issue? According to google really no warranty. Costs to fix?

It's really hard to tell from the picture exactly what is going on. Looks like it may have been a scratch that opened up that area? Where exactly is that?
Are you the first owner of the boat?

    Hard to tell.

If that is the rear sponson area, that sections gets abuse more then we realize. That is not a structual issue so is would not be covered under your warranty.

Have u tried buffing it out?

gelcoat typically doesn't flake off. Automotive paint does. Can't really tell anything from the pic. Regardless, to spray the rear corner with gel would run around 400-500.

Second owner of the boat, was Roland Martins, so boat was wrapped till I bought it. I’m not sure what pros choice did to it before I bought it. Ya it’s in the back right by the ladder, never seen a scratch or anything till I noticed this
