    TRX auto bilge

    Was out in heavy rain, big waves. Took a few over the bow. Noticed the auto bilge not working, manual worked fine.
    my understanding is when auto bilge runs it will also turn manual on.
    Console switch is set on auto .
    Has anyone experienced auto bilge issues?

    Auto bilge probably works off of a float switch.might be something as simple as trash in the impeller.

    On my 189, it takes more water than you would think to activate the bilge. Throw a hose in there and see if it comes on. If it is definitely not working, check to make sure the plug for the pump has not come loose. This happened on mine- it was not fully seated and worked loose.

    Check the fuse and wiring, auto bilge circuit should have power at all times.

    Check the float switch, part of the auto bilge pump, be sure nothing has it stuck off. You can lift up on float and it should turn on.
