Mega 360 Installed getting all kinds of errors

Alight I will lay out start to finish what I have going on..

I replaced my 360 with a Mega 360 which was installed by a HB dealer. The Mega 360 is working however getting the following errors and cannot figure out what is going on.

Units- 4 Helix 12's 3 are Gen 2 And 1 is a Gen 3 which is what Mega 360 is linked too.

Errors I am getting when running boat either idle or moving down the lake.
    • Confirm box comes up and 360 Sonar speed alarm has been reached Retract sweeping sonar? The trolling motor is up... Both screens are showing this on console
    • 360 Source has been lost comes up on both of my screens on console while driving. If I hit yes it goes off but comes back in 10 secs or less
    • One of my units I use for down scan / side imaging.. etc and this unit when I am using and the confirm box comes up for 360 source has been lost it defaults to HB mapping...

Thoughts on what the heck is going on?

The MEGA 360 is turned off when the trolling motor is stowed. That is most of what causes those pop-ups.

Wayne are you saying to turn it off or not turn it off? I am leaving it on with the errors coming up. I did go into my Network settings and all 4 units were showing setup for 360.. I went in and unchecked this from the units that are not using 360 so maybe that will help. I am baffled to say the least.

The MEGA 360 turns itself off when the trolling motor is stowed.

Uncheck 360 in the unit's Network menus and Forget 360 is about the only things you can do.

Having the same issue. Did unchecking the 360 network box help eliminate the messages on your units on the dash? Thanks

That first message sounds like an AS 360 message and not a Mega 360 message. If so, it sounds like the unit still thinks it has an AS 360 installed. If that is the case, and you continue getting AS 360 messages, you may need to do a Restore Factory Defaults to start with a clean slate.

I unchecked the 360 box on the networked Helix on the wheel. Problem solved. Thanks
