saw my first Ballistic boat a week ago

I wish I could tell you more, for example the model :-) but i was fishing a team tournament at Clear Lake Ca and someone had a silver Ballistic dual console with a Merc 250 4 stroke. I saw the boat while sitting in the water prior to blast off and it was really sharp.

One thing that caught my eye was the size of the front deck. I run a wide body boat myself and have a preference for that style, this boat was, to my eye, as wide as they come :-)

It may be a long deck but with only a 94" beam it definitely isn't as wide as they come.

Yes I would agree now that you mention it, the deck was long and he had no rods out so it appeared to be wider than it is.
Also was a really pretty ride I must say!

Kromer , I have been at Clearlake CA fishing a few events lately. My Ballistic is a 223. The deck is not the widest, but yes it is long. You are welcome to come check it out next time or if you have any questions I would be happy to talk with you.

Havent seen a dual console Ballistic. Is the passenger console removable so I can run with it in or out depending on if I like my passenger.

They make a DC model but I don't know how "removable" the passenger console is?

I love the look of the DC's and since our boat is my wife's mine will be a DC model.

    If a 223 isn't wide enough your problem isn't a boat issue.
