    3D Lowrance Transducer

    If your transducer is not making a clicking sounds is it time to replace?

    No. If it quits showing a good picture it may be time to replace it. Mine has been running since they were first made, still produces great images, and I have never heard it click.

    My bow transducer clicks when you turn it on if you put your ear near it!

    I have had transducers click in the past (2D sonar) where you could hear them anywhere in the boat, and they still worked, and most have never clicked that loud, and work fine. Yes, you can hear them and feel them up close.

    I never had a 3D transducer click (don't know it is possible at that frequncy) and mine works just fine. I would be more worried if your 3D transducer did click. Bottom line, judge it from the picture it provides on your unit. I assume the picture is alright?
