    Dale Hollow Lake Day Fishing

I was out with my dad Friday night after the storm and Saturday. Really struggled. Was it tough for you all as well or am I just not on fish? Not asking for any spots or techniques. Just curious how tough it has been fishing in general. I'm fairly new to fishing Dale, so I'm just trying to get a feel for how it fishes this time of year, responds to storm, etc.

    Thanks!

    Jason

Smallie fishing on Dale in the summer during the day is very tough generally speaking. During summer months on Dale night fishing is the best way to pursue the smallies.

Best time on Dale during the day time is late fall through the spawn. And the nastier the weather is, the better I've done on Dale...

    Good luck

We were there last week, very tough. Caught a couple dinks on Ned rig and shakeyhead in about 20 feet of water off a point.

Anyone have any info on the night fishing?
It's been a couple of months since I've been down there. June, of course was good. I've had some good nights in August too. Usually a bit tougher though.
