    Water in Bilge

Went to Maine Thurs. Pulled boat out of water onto trailer at ramp, removed drain plug , must have had 5-8 gallons of water come out. Today ,just for the heck of it ,put water in the boat , let it sit . Checked to see if there was any water leaking out . Nothing ,not a drop . So ,I would like to know where did or how all the water got into the boat . Any ideas ? Thanks in advance .

Anybody fishing with you on rear deck? Water seems to come in around some of the outlets on transom if someone standing on back rear corner. Or...could have shut down motor too quickly and back water came pouring over deck? Just couple ideas. Good luck

I have had this happen a couple of times and it was caused by my simply not tightening my drain plug tight enough. Lots of water can just seep in during a 4-5 hour outing.

If its a hull leak, some will only occur while
the boat is under power. LDS

I must say this ,... if it leaks in ,it must leak out if there is one . Will check hoses.

That 's normal, The water you put in the pump out hole went threw and out the bottom of the bilge pump. There is no check valve in it,just an open housing.
