    Praying Pickwick in late September?

I have only fished Pickwick in late October or in the spring when the water is fairly cool. How about fishing there in late September with the water stiff warm/hot? How is the grass around Stateline Island? Will there be grass in midlake area? Could the area where the TennTom waterway comes in have some current and be a factor? Thx much for any info.

Not a Pickwick expert but I do play one on TV. I wold say late Oct is better than late Sep for larger fish. The Tenn Tom waterway goes out not in. The shad will be or should be in the creeks. Not a bad time for numbers. Below the dam can be much more productive than the lake side. Grass can all be dependent on weather and current, but should still be plenty.
