    Pellet ?

    Open air deck here. Can a person leave pellets in the hopper or not, when your done cooking?

    Open air deck here, too. I guess you can, but I don't. My grill has a cover, too, but I just worry about heat, humidity, etc. To me, not worth the risk. Another reason is I don't always use the same pellets. I blend my own. Get em out so I won't have to remember what was in there last time.

    Yes you can leave pellets in the hopper. Just make sure the lid is closed.

    My grills don't stay outside unless they're cooking, so I leave my pellets in. Egg goes back indoors also. Just figure they'll last a lot longer doing this.

    I’ve had mine on the back deck since I got it in April. I do have a cover for it though and it’s always on unless grilling, no issues yet.

    +1. Mine sits on an uncovered deck with only the factory cover and I have had zero issues. And this is in TN with 90% humidity

    Mine sits on the patio with a cover over it. I leave pellets in it and no problems.
