RTV cure time before test run after water pump impeller change

Just serviced water pump on my Mercury 75HP ELPTO for the first time. All went like clockwork (thanks to advice and guidance from this forum). Used the red RTV as per manual. I ran motor on muffs about 2 hours later. Was that enough time for RTV to cure? Have that sinking feeling I should have waited longer...

I think it dries in about a hour and cures in 24 hours depending on humidity and weather.

You are probably fine but if it's gonna haunt you, then yank it and do over.

Dropped the leg and re-sealed. Now onto the trailer bearings! Thanks for all your comments ...
