Additional Console Unit - Sonar Setup Help?

I currently have an HDS 7 gen 2 on my console with I believe a structure scan transducer on the transom. I would like to add a 9 inch (Elite ti2 or HDS Live) unit and use one unit for imaging and the other unit for regular 2D sonar/depth and GPS. What are some of my options for transducer type and installation? This is a used boat but new to me so I do not know if a thru-hull sounder is already installed. Thanks in advance for suggestions / recommendations.

Typically a AI 3 in 1, and then pause 2D on one unit and StructureScan on the other unit to avoid crosstalk.
