Secondary Fuel filter?

I just bought a used boat with a 250 XS (2 Stroke). I fish on the rivers often and I want to possibly add a Racor secondary main fuel filter in the event I have to get fuel at the marina. The Racor filter says 60 GPH flow and 10 micron filtering. Would you recommend this on a two stroke? Also, it says that it won't filter any oil, so I want to make sure of this before possibly adding.

Has anyone else added an additional fuel filter to a two stroke?

Don't do it, you motor has proper filtration already, adding another filter or separator may cause fuel starvation (lean run) and vapor lock problems
