    Ultrex spot lock not working

Brand new ultrex two weeks old, used spot lock today for the first half of the day. Later in the afternoon I go to hit that and nothing, same with the north button. Looked on the remote and it says motor error? The motor works fine manually and no obstructions. Anyone have any clues?

The only thing I was thinking is maybe my trolling motor batteries are getting a little weak but does that stop just spot lock from not working?

This GPS module along with the rest of the ones used on different troll motors require a steady voltage source. By that I mean if the voltage fluctuates, then you may have a discharged or weak batteries. You may also have bad connections. This will either not allow spot lock to engage or if it does engage it will disengage pretty quick. I would check connections and do a load test on your batteries.

Try using the remote, that should show if it's in the pedal or in the electrical

Remote says motor error, not sure what that means.

Try to re-pare with the motor.
