Back to Bama - 2nd trip
Well, The power problem has been solved but not the issues.
Finally got my rig back after 7 weeks at shop. Electrical problems solved with
a new wiring harness and a good AGM battery and a capacitor.
My Solix's went black screened and non-responsive. The units went back to HB
and returned with the diagnosis of software corruption. All Happy I got back on
the water, but on the console Solix 12 - 2d was not responsive and was stuck on 1ft.
DI - was flat dead SI was a pure screen of yellow and stuck on 1ft.
Trouble shooting I disconnected the Y cable and connected them both to the unit.
2d was working fine , DI & SI were also fine. So I called HB they confirmed and sent me
a new Y cable. I loaded the 3.75 update while I waited for the cable.
I went with all my tools and extra gear. I replaced the Y cable and here are problems.
Solix 12 at helm, 2d is stuck on 1.1 ft and just blue lined out. (I confirmed this with a new 2d transducer)
DI - black screened and stuck on 1.1 ft. SI was working but images were not clear no matter what contrast or power.
I moved the 12 to the bow and the problems followed, same with the 10 to the helm.
Solix 10 at bow, 2d worked, DI worked but SI was uhhh very distorted and had vertical and horizontal lines on it.
So a call into HB, testing on the water while on the phone and back to Bama they go!
I have no idea what has gone wrong. The pics are what HB wanted and I'm just sharing them.
Any thoughts? (And yeah I did about 4 factory resets and setups no help)
