WSM rebuid kits- Are these any good?

I am looking to rebuild a 2000 Mercury 225 EFI 3.0 liter and I am curious if anyone has used the WSM rebuild kits that I see for sale on many websites. Just wondering if anyone has had a good or bad experience with these kits. They appear to contain pretty much everything I need, and the price does not seem too crazy.

I like ProMarine, or Genuine Mercury parts.

Do you happen to know what type of pistons comes in the ProMarine kit?

i just rebuilt a 300 promax, have done several 2.5's, using WSM kits. I became a WSM dealer when Pro Marine began having issues with inventory. I have been very pleased with the WSM pistons and components. my 2 cents

Thank you for the information. My engine decided to melt a rod to the crank in a fishing tournament a couple of weeks ago, looks like an injector failed I am guessing. Block is still good, it will need a crank and a rebuild, just pricing out parts and weighing out my options.

I have used WSM pistons in several rebuilds and they worked very well (and all still running strong).
