    I'd skip the NEW Boat idea and look for a 2-3 yr old one. Then all the BS warrantee work has been done and any spider cracking will show up. There are a lot of good deals out there !! I'd try to stay under 150 hrs on the big motor and get all the info on any work that has been done.

    Ranger. Best value hands down. My first boat was a Ranger R83 and I love the heck out of it. Quality built and literally unsinkable. There stable as heck and can handle any type of water you throw at them.
