The hull of my boat is a light to medium gray. I really like it. The fish hit better when it's overcast.

I would agree, but they didn't have a black Touareg when I was buying mine.

I'm not sure why standing out is a concern. But that's easy. Don't pick lime green, bright orange or maybe purple. Honestly the easiest boat to see from a distance is one with metal flake.

I have owned silver, blue, white. They all get dirty, and they all look clean from a distance, and they all look dirty when your close to it.

If your not willing to live with white or something close to it for both longevity and personal comfort, then color makes no difference. Pick what you like.

I bought a 15 year old boat ten years ago and have NEVER washed it. It's the color of whatever it's been swimming in for the last ten years!

I like this setup. Light gray and white interior with a white sides, non painted boot exterior. My darker colored boats look better when they were clean...but they always felt super hot on a bright day.

I have a white cap, white boot, and silver flake side panels. Easiest boat I have owned to keep clean.

I have had (as main colors) blue flake, burgundy, white, charcoal flake, red, and silver flake. BY FAR the easiest to keep clean looking is silver flake. It is not as hot either.

IMG_0060.jpgMidnight blue & silver with red pin stripes. Don't have a problem keeping mine clean. My tow vehicle is a black Silverado, it stays waxed & clean.
