Heading to Rayburn from VA for BASS Open in Sept

    Hey guys,
I’ve always wanted to fish Rayburn, and with the Opens this year it seemed like a good chance to enter as a co-angler. Plus my girlfriend lives in TX and I’m looking to relocate at some point. I signed up for the Lewisville tx too. I’ve been doing a lot of research, but I am looking for some advice on what type of techniques may be going on in early September so I can pack correctly. Any advice you guys can offer is much appreciated.
    Thanks!

You may have more success getting information from Texas Fishing Forum. I can't help you on Rayburn in September but hit me up before you come to Lewisville.

Grass should be a good pattern by September, course there will be fish deep. Course this all depends on rainfall.

Tx rig, Cr rig, Jig , Crank baits, maybe a drop shot. Something you can punch with. Im sure frog's and top water will come into play over grass.

All depends on who you draw, They could go north and flip, or say south and fish brushpiles and grass.
