    Yamaha diagnostic software

I'm very new to the mentioned topic, but I bought the software and connector and have been able to tap into my HPDI a few times, some cool stuff in there. I don't believe I have had the motor running with my computer hooked up, so maybe that might answer some of my questions. I'm able to read how many total hours the engine has, can actuate fuel pumps, coils, injectors, that sort of thing. But, shouldn't I be able to read how many hours at specific RPMs as well? I'll have to look to see which software version I have, but I would imagine I should be able to see these things. Any help would be great.

Yup, I got that part down, but it still doesn't bring it up, and I can't see into the menus where I can get that up. I'll have to see what the issue might be. Any way you could provide a flow chart to find such info?

To be perfectly honest, I just fumble through the menu until I stumble across what I'm looking for.

Gotcha. I'll see if I can do the same. I don't seem to have all screens available to me when I go into the menus, and don't see a place to go into sometimes. Make me wonder if I'm missing something or doing something wrong.

No problem. I found it pretty easy to work with for the most part, but I'm still having problems figuring it all out. Specifically what I talked about earlier in this thread. I've still yet to get it figured out as I've been tearing into the motor and replacing filters, doing some maintenance stuff, so I hope to check it out later this week. It's always somethin....

I started to tear into mine and then some very experienced “grey beards” told me that if it ain’t broke don’t mess with it.
I’m no mechanic but can fix a few things.
I PM what I can and don’t get in over my head.
I basically just want to see my diagnostics and how things are working.
Know what they know when/if it’s time to take in.
So many of us get ripped off these days cause we don’t know.

I have an issue now, that I posted, which has stemmed the interest in looking more into it.
I hope to God it’s just a bad gauge or a prop hub that’s gone bad.
Boat shops are weeks out here in Oklahoma bc of the whole China getting parts deal from what I’m told.
Boat yards here are backed up for months !!!
