I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm running g 58-5900 ram and still can only get 64-65 out of her.... installed a hydraulic plate and still the same. Moved my talons up higher still the same. Went from 26 prop to a 25 and still the same. 250 pro xs .... HELP I WANNA FLY !!!!!!
has anyone looked at your hot foot and checked it for open throttle ….. or double ck your motor.... should run better than that...

What kind of loads? Definitely seems 5 mph light based on RPM’s.
I'm getting my full rpms so anymore throttle would rev limit right?
What prop are you using? I run a Tempest 25 with a manual jack plate and power poles and get low 70’s on my 921.

I'm running a 25 tempest as well with talons and hydraulic plate. I've even built shims to raise talons up higher than normal to make sure they not dragging and still no difference
Running a 25P Fury4 on 2016 921 Merc 250, runs 70-74 pending how I want to drive it and loads. Definitely check to make sure full throttle and are the rpms you are reading off the gauge or a Merc Monitor?

I have an 18 model 921, I run a fury 24 3 blade. Seems to run best. About 68 -70 bout all you gonna get out of it.
