    My falcon 205

    falcon.jpg

2019 Falcon 205 with 250 SHO. Had it running 80.9 at 6100 rpms with a 27t1 in spring. Runs 74-77 comfortably all day in tourney. Love the ride.. handles big water like a tank!

Would love to know how you've got the boat setup. I'm running a 2020 205 with a 250 SHO and the 25 scorpion it came with from the factory on a 6" SeaStar hydraulic plate and im hitting 73.5 with empty livewells and 3/4 tank.

Doesnt sound like your too far off with you running a 25p and him a 27p....alone you should gain a few MPH off of that.

Right but I’m at 6000 rpms now so going to a 27 would reduce my rpms and most likely kill my hole shot.

I should have asked that as well - @Falcon205Guy how is your holeshot?

I hit 74 MPH last weekend with the SHO and a Solas prop. The Solas started slipping about 5600 RPMS as I came up on the plate. I really wish they would come with the real deal Yamaha prop instead of the knock off.

To hit 80 and to turn a 27 it would have to be flashed I'd think.

With Some help from falcon205guy i have been able to tweak my f215 with the jack plate, and trim... 74.8 when the fxp cracked(still climbing) half tank, empty wells, and fully excessive load.

have seen 73ish with the stock 24 that came with it, only when the boat has a light load/full tank/livewell

Im hoping when I get my 215 next week or two I can get it dialed in....id be happy if I can get 73-74 out of it smoothly. Im looking for solid performance but more so smooth driving......dont want to worry about any walking!

You can hit 80 if you’re looking at speedometer not gps

My guess if he hit 80 he has a flashed SHO. I mentioned that earlier in the thread, but with no response. I heard of this 80 mph 205 in a tournament I fished in last year. I also said it had to be flashed. It was like I never said a word. Lol
