Prop for 700lx - 90hp Mercury

My 700lx has a Black Max factory prop (23 pitch) on it currently. I am running 5000 WOT. I want to go to a Trophy Plus, and the "Mercury Prop Selector" is saying a 13.75x21 is the proper prop.

I know it's a long shot, but is anyone running this hull with the 90hp that can give any advice?

Not running that same hull but a 21" pitch stainless sounds correct for that motor. You should be running more than 5000 WOT and a 21 pitch stainless will get you there. If you don't want to take out a loan to buy a new Mercury stainless prop, Power Tech, and Michigan Wheel both make excellent stainless 3 and 4 blade props for the money.

The book recommends 5000-5500 WOT. Thanks for the info. I've found a nice used Trophy here for about 1/2 the retail price.
