I haven't found any from Danville to the dam. If there is some it must be sparse at best. IMO one of the main reasons Ky Lake is fishing poor.

Might be slightly off topic but what’s the best grass lake in Kentucky? I know cedar has some but haven’t heard how good of a grass bite there is.

Old Hickory in Nashville. It isn’t in Ky, but it’s close. It’s full of grass, creeks and main lake.

There would need to be grass around Paris in order for this to be possible. I've fished it as far south as Perryville w/o seeing a single spec of grass this season.. Its been 3 years since I've seen a juvenile growth that would later die out. Pickwick is the nearest body of water in the river with grass. FTR it is doing quite well there.

Absolutely 0 grass on KY Lake the last 3-4 years. You wont find a spec until you get to Pickwick

That article pretty much sums up the chances of the lakes ever getting grass established again.

Maybe all the grass carp will eventually die of starvation.
