Just picked up a '95 Cajun, very happy with the find and excited to get it operational. Called for an insurance quote and we are having issues with the agents identifying the actual Cajun model. The title states "Ragin" for model and 19', insurance companies don't list that as an actual production model. The sticker on the driver console is "189 Pro Travis Edition" and was hoping the hull ID would help but the insurance company said that won't help with the model.
The boat is a dual console manufactured in '94 but is considered a '95 model with a 150Hp Johnson Fast Strike, I roughly measured it tip-to-tip and is about 18' 10" or so. I've also checked the Cajun list on this site and it seems like it could be a couple different models, my guess is when the title was transferred someone got lazy and left out some critical info to identify the boat.
Any suggestions??
