I am looking at putting a 12" locator at the console of my RT188. For those of you that are running a large screen locator on this boat (or similar), what mount did you use and if possible can you add a photo.
I would like to mount it on the dash and am not a fan of the locator off to the side. Does it block too much of the gauges? Did you need to add spacers for the steering wheel? For reference, I have the 2018 and earlier style dash.
I built my own mount. I already had a 2" steering wheel spacer. This is a Solix 10. I do have to look around to see the trim gauge.

2016 Ranger RT188, Yamaha 115 sho, dual console, 80# Ultrex, hotfoot, networked HB Solix 10 & Helix 9, Mega 360. Powertech NRS3 18p, Atlas 4" jack plate.
2019 RT188 with dual 12's, hydraulic steering and no spacer. You can't buy the mount but the units sit low behind the wheel. If you don't have SeaStar you will need the spacer.
From when I was looking the BBT mounts look to sit the lowest behind the wheel.
2015 only took a 7. I have a BBT mount on the front and I like it. I would put a RAM mount on the side of the console because I don't want to look around a 12". I had a RAM on my Lowe and really liked it because you can disconnect it easily for safe storage.

I have a 2018 RT188 and a Solix 12 on a BBT mount. I really like it easy to reach the screen with hands on steering wheel.
