    Marine mechanic in Central FL

I'm noticing some performance issues with my 115ProXS outboard and would like to get them checked out or fixed. Wish I could do it myself, but after investigating about the possible causes, it sounds over my head.

I'm willing to go as far north as Gainesville, and as far south as Orlando. Would consider a little further, maybe.

Anybody know of a reliable, honest mechanic??

Lakeshore Marine in Okeechobee. Very honest and good people to do business with. Probably a little further than you wanted but that’s the best I know of.

+1. Ryan is awesome and he has a pretty good turnaround time if parts availability allow it.

A mobile guy I recommend is JJ's Marine

RNF, I was last there last week for the yearly service. Dropped the boat off and took my son to get breakfast, came back an hour later and boat was ready.

I was out toward the Atlantic side visiting with my wife’s family yesterday and wasn’t able to check in. Thanks for all the recommendations!

Side note - it’s very surprising to hear that an annual service was completed same day...is that something RNF scheduled in advance?

1781ccT, yes it was a scheduled day to get the annual service. When I called to set the appointment day, they were about 2 weeks out.

I found that surprising as well.
I think 3 days was the fastest I ever got any of my boats back after a service.

    Makes sense!

I think I’ll be calling in the morning to see what their lead time is now. Meant to do it today but got carried away with the pressure washer on the house. House looks great, but it’s been 25+ years since paid my bills behind one of those things. I’m sore AF. Might need some of LewStule’s good stuff

Ugh...my boat just HAD to develop an issue right before the appointment. No same day service for me, but hopefully they can figure out and fix what decided to take dive. Motor just wouldn’t turn more than 3k rpm and couldn’t plane out.

I guess it’s better that it happened the day before the annual service instead of the day after
