    Skeeter ZX150?

Anyone have the ZX 150 or ZX 190? How does the boat handle big water and what are the pro’s and Con’s of the boat? I’m in the market and have been looking at these boats. I’m coming out of an FTD Puma, but looking to downsize.

I have a zx 190 with a 175 hpdi. Not the fastest boat by any means but easy to drive and handles water well. Storage is ample but I would like a day box. Does what i need it to do.

I fish with my uncle in his tzx 190 fairly often. With a 175 sho the boat performs very well for an 18.5' boat, with two people and 3/4 tank of gas it will run low to mid 60's easily. I have been impressed with how this boat handles rough water, I have not been in a boat in the same size class that rides as well as his skeeter.

I would not recommend a 18 or 19 foot boat for big water. You’re downsizing I don’t think you’ll be happy with the ride of a smaller boat regardless.

    I have a 2020 zx150...fishes very big for 18'6
Plenty of storage, I've had 20 rods with room to spare in the port rod box. The forward box holds a pile of 3700s. The day box is awesome and the cooler keeps ice all day. Storage behind the seats is less than zx190 as they shortened the rear deck for a larger cockpit. The zx200-250 seats and helm is very nice

The boat handles very nice and rides pretty well for an 18ftr, hole shot is excellent (actually get up quicker that 75 percent of the boats in my club.

Top speed I've seen is 59.4 in ideal condition with a full tourney load and 3/4 tank of gas. With a partner 56-57 is the norm...she doesn't chine walk at all

My only comaint is the forward storage bin...with a full compliment of 3700s you have to leave room to angle the boxes to get them out, the bin is like 1/8th too narrow imo

I have a 2019 ZX190 with a 150SHO..it fishes alot bigger, solid boat overall, awesome holeshot and smooth ride...top speed is 59.2 with just me 1/2 tank of gas and full of gear....
Only complaint I have is: limited to flush mount 5" HB graphs at the bow and console

How do you like the switches being on the dash panel?

I like them, but I wish they weren't there if I wanted to add a mount to the dash

Exactly. And the steering wheel is in the way of reaching them easily.

    poor idea on Skeeters part.

I dont mind the switches being there, I placed my helix 9 there so it hides its well enough.

I've been looking at these boats. I have a 2001 zx190 now. I just haven't convinced myself that it's enough of an upgrade to spend the money.
