    Melted rocker switches

Anyone else’s rocker panel switches melting? Pretty much all of mine from power to the livewell switches. Never had this happen before. Lol been noticing I’ve been getting black goo all on my fingers and in my fingernails and found the culprit.

anyone know if these are just universal?

I changed mine on my '99 201, they did the same thing, started to get sticky and gooey.
Good news is that if the pot is still good, you can get away with just changing the covers. No need to take anything apart or screw around with connections etc...
Simple click off, click on. You could change every cover on every switch in the boat in 15 minutes.
Here's a link to one of many sellers online.

How hard are they to change? Do you need a special tool?

There is a plastic fork looking tool thingy that you can buy, but I changed mine just by unclipping them carefully...and not even that carefully...pretty easy and straight forward.
