    Re-powering Project This Winter-1999 Merc 175 EFI

I'm in the process of repowering my 280 PRO as a winter project. If you know anyone doing a part out of a 2.5 Merc 175 EFI, let me know. Looking for good used crank and one rod. As always there will be some mods along the way. First will be to open up the venting on those heavy as hell cowls and strip out the foam and glued in rear panels. then open up the aft top vent section as well as adding a fwd clean air intake.

Ok, found a crank, now I just need a rod now.

Mid section, swivel bracket and heads ready to ship off to Calhoun & Chapman Racing for some custom work. Gonna be real nice when its done......

Can hardly wait till next spring when it's all together and break in time. Getting ready to send the block out too for a new sleeve. Rod let loose, killed the crank but didn't window the block.... Head took a beating too.
