Spent the last week at Lakeside. First time in Maine and to Cobbossee. People at Lakeside were wonderful. We showed up last Saturday and started talking to our cabin neighbors Drew and Mike. We could not have asked for more as they gave us a tour of the lake and marked our map up of some areas we should give a try. That certainly accelerated our learning curve. I don’t know if they are on here but if they are I can’t thank you enough. We were told the fishing was slow but we did better than expected numbers wise. Overall the fish were smaller than we usually catch on our trips to Canada. We managed to catch a few low 4 lbers and a bunch of 3 lbers. We caught them on a bunch of stuff but big producers were drop shot, Ned rig, and top water. Many of the bigger fish came flipping grass or trees with D-bombs.
