    Phoenix 619 pro xp

I’m torn between a 2014 619 pro xp Phoenix or waiting to find a used 20 ft ranger/ Phoenix. I wantto know the pros and cons to these options and I have a big enough truck to pull a 20 ft boat easily I just don’t know if I should sit on a 20fter or jump onthis 19 ft because it’s right in my price range and the boat is basically new it only has 100 hrs on it. Any thoughts ?

I run a 2013 619 and it is a great boat. Plenty fast enough with a 200 pro xs. Ride and fishability are great

I have a '14 619 Pro and love it. My thoughts, if you think you wont be satisfied with the smaller boat, then wait it out. When i was looking for one i could have gotten a Skeeter with a 225 but really wanted the Phoenix. The trade off was going to a 200 HP that was in price range vs. a different brand with 225 HP in price range. Have boat for about 4 yrs and not one regret. Would i like one with a 225, yes, but sometimes the stars just dont align....

I bought my 619 new in 2013, actually just broke 100 hours on the mercury 200 this season, but a lot of time on the 36v TM. Love the layout, ( mine is a dual console), storage is great, handles rough water super. The front bow area is narrow, especially with rods on both sides, you just have to be aware if you’re reeling in a fish. I was close to selling mine a couple years ago and get a 919 to have that wider bow, but wasn’t worth the $$.

I have a 2014 model and noticed yesterday I had 113 hours on it. This year with covid hurt my hours but should be roughly 125. Obviously this is not much use but if cared for well is indeed near new. Just represents someone who is on the water maybe 20 days a year and launches near where they fish.

I have a 2012 619 and love it. It takes the rough water as good as some 21' boats I've been in. I'd pull the trigger on the 619 now. If you decide in a year or two that you want the bigger boat, you will be able to sell the 619 for near what you paid for it.

Does everything you need it to. And will hold it’s value. 619 is 19’10”

agree and wanted to add the 618 is a 18'10 boat so it supports your measure. If I had to say something negative about the 618 or 619 it would be that the front is not the widest but it has had no impact on my fishing pleasure
