    Jack plate question

So my 205 came with the ever so terrible Z lock....thinking on switching to hydraulic.....question is.....Bobs or Atlas? I have no lean from one to another....ive tried reading reviews been the two and not really much bad to say about a Bobs.....Also.....Ive seen they offer pumps internal and/or external in the boat....I would imagine internal is the better choice? Need some info guys cause im lost when it goes to jackplates. Thanks guys! #BIGDECKS

Both are good. Atlas has less moving parts. I feel like bobs are build sturdier. But I’ve never had issues with my atlas. Stay with an 8”.

I got them to put the SeaStar plate on my 205 and I love it!

I have a 6" atlas on mine with no issues...Wouldn't want a boat without it. I highly recommend getting a hydrolic ASAP... the Falcons love back in weight and running 2.5" under pad FYI...
