    Visiting NEED to fish!!!

Ill be up in KS about 1 hr east of Wichita on July 31 thru - Aug 2 and again on Aug 14 - Aug 6 if anyone has a back seat available and it works out. Id love to fish a KS lake. Ill be up doing some deer scouting and stand setup in-between work. Ill pay ALL expenses... except boat payments :)

I can reciprocate in GA on Linear any time on my 198 Champion.

I'm no threat to honey holes and don't fish the area I just want to fish that's all. I do have some ponds I fish on a hunt lase but wanted to experience a KS lake - Grass would be nice as on my home lake (lake Lanier) its Spotted bass and deep brush. No grass.

If you know a guide Id be willing try that as well but rather not.

Not sure about a lake with grass in it close by. The high water last year killed allot of the grass in the lakes close to me. How far do you want to travel to fish? Where you are staying there is not any good size lakes nearby that have good bass populations.

Did not know is El Dorado lake worth it? I see a lot of bass boats around. I don't know about KS lakes as I never fished them only some ponds. Was just wanting to get out and go fishing, not really to picky. Guess I could get a Yack and do some of the bigger ponds by me. One is 75acre and is full of grass and bass so I fig KS lakes are grass lakes. 50-60 miles radius.

At 75 acres, someone needs to put a ramp in that.

There is a State Lake called Butler County Lake not too far from Beaumont, only has water willow around the edges. Eldorado does not have any grass and if you want to fish it, you should go with someone else. That place haunts me when I go. One of the best grass lakes close to me is Bone Creek, but it is in the wrong direction.

Big Hill is about 1 1/2 hours east of Beaumont, but no grass either.

Well I never hit a big lake on a boat but in between deer scouting I did hit some ponds and the 75 acre. Caught several in 2 days. One real nice one.
    Some pics.
