    Hwy 64

    I have to take my boat to Anglers Choice in Lexington next week. Does anyone know how 64 is between Siler City and Lexington?
    Any road construction or bunch of small towns to go through? I'm looking at 421 from Sanford then decide on taking 64 at Siler City or going on up and getting on 85. Any suggestions?

    If you use Google Maps it will generally tell you about slow downs, bridges under construction, road closure, etc....

    Bought my boat at Rock Outdoors. I live in Pittsboro and take 64 to 85.
    Nice drive. Sometimes slow, but I prefer to hiways.
    Can’t speak to local road work for the summer.
    Lots of food options in Asheboro.

    I used to take mine there when it was David Fritts Outdoors. I would take 64 all the way to Lexington. It is probably 20 miles of 1 lane road with limited passing opportunity, good as long as you dont get behind a Pochahontas.
